About TCCLA

Who Are We?

TCCLA is an independent ministry and 501(c)(3) charitable organization. We are Christian lawyers and law students who provide free legal assistance to qualified individuals at ministry locations around the Twin Cities.

TCCLA was started in 2000 at the New Hope Center in Minneapolis and has expanded to serve clients at three Twin Cities’ locations. We work with organizations such as Minnesota Christian Lawyers, Christian Legal Society of Minnesota, and Minnesota Teen Challenge, along with numerous other churches and ministries that partner in our ministry.

How We Operate

Persons desiring to meet with an attorney need to come to the service location and complete an eligibility form.

Volunteer Christian attorneys, with law students and paralegals under their supervision, will meet with eligible individuals at the time of their visit for confidential help.

Resource and referral information is available to assist volunteer attorneys in locating appropriate referrals for additional services.
